I know it's not an NFL thing, but I love it in NCAA and I was wondering if they had it in ESPN?

Also, is it a button that you can press, or is it just certain plays you run.

Yes it's in the game, the only year it was'nt was for NFL2k3 but every other year it's been in there.

Yes laterals are in ESPN NFL. In the Xbox version, pulling both triggers simultaneously makes the ballcarrier lateral. It's probably something similar on PS2.
