Okay, since you discussed it...

The guy with the G on his face *is* me. It's utterly insane, but it is. I know there will be a lot of skeptics to that statement, and there's nothing I could do about that. (I'm not a Packer fan, but this is a general fan cut-scene...the irony is that I'm an Eagle fan, and this has to be from last year's NFC Championship Game).

I emailed Sega to find out how they came about it, but I've gotten no response so far. I thought maybe I could find someone here who could shed some light on it.

I'm not some delusional, conceited idiot (okay, maybe I am ; ) ). But I saw this last night...it freaked me out. I showed it to my wife, and she got more than a little freaked, and told me to email Sega and find out where they got the pic. Everyone I've showed it to has asked me how I got into the game. Everything...from the faded eyebrows to the expression on that face...is me. It's just...eerie.

Anyway, just wanted to clear that up.

I'm sorry...I don't post here as much as I used to...but what does mocapped me? And why is the thread funny? I do see some hilarity, but I'm actually serious about this.

Dude, please tell me your not serious about this. First off, it's not a pic, it's a pic of a video sequence. Do you think they filmed you? Was there a guy beside you in a helmet and two guys behind you? It's a video creation of fans. A created fan has to have a face. Just because it looks like you and you've gone to a game in your life does not make it you. I really can't believe you are pursuing this.

If it weren't that detailed, I wouldn't even think about it. But I really am a bit surprised at how detailed it is. If I didn't get the question "How'd you get in the game?" from everyone I've shown, I wouldn't bother. But the fact that every single person I've shown it to has asked me about it makes me think that I should ask about it.

Yeah, it IS very odd. I'm normally not one to react to something this way. But it's really, *really* crazy.

It is difficult to believe they would intentionally try to model your head and body when it is much easier to just create a random person. Maybe it is the fact that you just look like an average white guy. This guy has no distinct features at all to make him stand out.

Its likely a coincidence but post a pic for the fun of it.
