Question about Online Connections

I know 2K5 isn't out yet, but I was wondering if anyone could answer a few questions about 2K4 or any of the past games connectivity. First, does the game still have reconnects? One thing I liked about 2K1 on Dreamcast is that you could reconnect with someone, that was a feature I thought was sorely missing in Madden 2004.

Also, how was connection quality last year for most of you guys? I'm always surprised when I read about online football games having lag. I played Madden 2004 and NFL2K1 both on dialup and had pretty good connections when I didn't get disconnect.


Any more info about online connections is appreciated, especially any thoughts on the league setup from last year. Could the league head set up sliders for the whole league or anything like that?

Also, how many players will this game allow from one TV during online play? Does it go up to four?

It allows up to 4 players online and if by reconnect you mean when connection is lost it counts down until connection is back then yes

98% of the games I play online are lag free. You can't tell that it's online. And if by reconnect you mean rematch, than yes they have that.

JJ how long did last years game give you? And thanks I was hoping the reconnect was back, like I said in my initial post I hated that it was missing in Madden.
