Gamestop does do the exact same thing. They're the same company as EB Games. Anyone who preordered can pick up their copies late the previous night. They've been doing that for a few years now.

Yes but in this case the stores are supposed to have it wednesday. Slim to nil chance of a store having it monday night. Tuesday has a better chance, since it ships, and of course it will be on shelves on wednesday.

EBGames and Gamestop aren't the same company.

Gamestop Software Etc & Funcoland are under the same company.
EBGames is Electronics Botique and Babbages I think.

Last year I didn't get the game until that Wednesday, and they didn't have it when the store opened either, I had to wait for the shipment to come in.

I remember getting Madden the night of the ship date but not two night before.

yea it definitely seems like a slim chance of them having it then but im just saying that's what the guy there told me and it'd be cool if it was true
