How about the challenge feature?
Better playcalling menu?
Progressive dirty unis
Setting players in motion
Defensive/Offensive pre-snap line adjustments?
Good sim stats, Espn Still does'nt have it right?
PRo Bowl game with each player with thier respective teams helmets?

Man I can honestly name at least 10 if not more items that were present in Madden before 2K even though about it + features that 2K still does'nt have ( In Game save anyone)

Nfl2K is my game of choice, but respect Madden for being the pioneer of alot of features

I love how quickly this thread turned into a debate between Madden and the 2k series. I was simply making a point that both games "borrow" ideas from the other. It happens in many games of all genres, i.e. "bullet time" in Max Payne, Matrix, Dead to Rights, etc.

Honestly the thing I hate about Madden is the commentary, graphics, momentum, presentation, & most importantly the gameplay just is'nt that well balanced.

Running in 2K is better = more control = more fun
Passing in Madden is'nt realsitic, just chug it up there & watch offensive players catch the ball triple covered.

I mean I know I knocked ESPn for not having alot of in game features but, one area in my opinion that it's better & always has been is in gameplay.

Thank god for the the super dive tackle being gone.
I can honestly say that Visual Concepts took every GOOD IDEA madden had & made thier game better, as a long life Madden player I felt last year 2K4 was actuall better.

Still the run game was to dominant, if this has changed I beleive this year 2K5 will be there best game ever

Also for all of the intelligent posters in this thread , just for one second stop & recognize what I was talking about.

If I were to mention one new cool feature that was in Madden & a 2K gamer were to say that feature was already in 2K I have to respect that.

I'm only a fanboy to videogames, & I give credit to where it belongs. Madden had alot of features that were never in the 2K series & in my opinion all of the ideas they borrowed from them has made thier game better
