My xbox doesnt read burned cds either, so i guess its nothing but rap for espn for me. I dont think im going to spend 20 bucks on the music maker, or whatever its called just to have clips in my game.

I like the Califonia love and keep their head ringing idea.

I think on a 4th down stop ill use DMX " Stop, drop, shut em down open up shop"

Yes Dookiemowf Yours does (you probably have the Thomson Drive) heres the general rule when it comes to Xboxes If you have a Phillips or a Samsung then it plays CD-R and CD-RW

Now the Thomson Drive you would need CD-RW thats all it will read just buy some CD-RWs they work in all XBOXEN!

USE CD-RW not CD-R CD-RW WORKS IN ALL XBOXEN!

CD-Rs did not work on my xbox, but my only CD-RW worked fine. I have a lot of NFL Films stuff I'm going to use, plus I have the FOX theme, Eye of the Tiger, Bombs Over Baghdad, some Rage Against the Machine. I think I already posted an early version of my track list in another thread.

Re: Official Custom Soundtrack Thread

For my Falcons franchise:

Touchdown: Jermaine Dupri - "Welcome to Atlanta"
INT: Red Hot Chili Peppers - "Give it Away"
Stadium Intro: - MNF Theme/Fox Sports theme
Sack: Jay-Z - "Hard Knock Life"
3rd dn incomplete: Public Enemy - "Shut 'Em Down"
Field Goal: Outkast - "Hey Ya"

I really wish we could play music for penalties so I could play "I Fought the Law (and the Law Won)."

OK let's try to keep any talk of how to burn CD-R(W)s or how to get these songs onto your HD out of this thread. If you look around here or other sites you should be able to figure it out. Anyways how about you tell me what you're going to be listening to in your menus and more importantly through the stadium speakers in NFL 2K5.

Here's some of mine to get started:

FOX NFL Theme
Monday Night Theme
GNR- Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child of Mine
Mettalica- Enter Sandman
House of Pain- Jump Around
Rammstein- Du Hast
ACDC- Hells Bells, Money Talks
Blur- Song 2
Gary Glitter- Rock and Roll part 2
The Offspring- Nitro
50 Cent- In Da Club
Beastie Boys- Sure Shot
Franz Ferdinand- Take me Out
Scorpians- Rock you like a hurricane
Muse- TIRO, Stockholm Syndrome, Plug in Baby, New Born (yeah I'm a Muse whore)
J-Kwon- Tipsy
In Flames- Only for the weak, Trigger
Darkness- Get your hands off my woman
Modest Mouse- Float on
ATDI- One Armed Scissor
Velvet Revolver- Slither
The Walkmen- The Rat
Various other Jock Jams

Hey Barbourshop, you wouldn't happen to be a UK fan, would you?

(Hint hint, I'm from Elizabethtown, hint, hint)

Sadly, I have no idea what you're talking about (Elizabethtown) I'm actually Canadian and a Huskies fan.
Keep them coming fellas.

for sacks -keep there heads ringin'-Dr. Dre

- THAT is a great one that i will have to "borrow" ! good stuff!

I discovered 2 more that will definetly be in the mix to add to the others below in between the trophys :

Atlanta Braves Fight Song (War chant) aka florida state (war chant) - you get the drums and the OHHHHH OH OHHHHHH chant and its the same that you hear in the stadium!

Sports Themes Ole' Ole' remix has a great begining that would be good for number of instances

also there are a couple of speeches believe it or not (the al pacino speech from Any given Sunday) and (vince lombardi football speech) I am thinking about layering this with a hype-up/ theme music that gets louder as the speech reaches crecendo and use that as an intro as well.

Bonecrusher - neva scared (football remix)
MondayNightFootball Theme
PENN STATE NITTANY LION'S ROAR
NFL ON FOX THEME
OHIO STATE FIGHT SONG
OAKLAND RAIDERS THEME
THE HEY SONG
when we ride on our enemies
BABY FEATURING CLIPSE CLAP THAT BOY (WHAT HAPPEN TO THAT BOY)
keep there heads ringin'-Dr. Dre
Atlanta Braves Fight Song (War chant)
Ole' Ole' remix

Bonecrusher - neva scared (football remix) - this would be a good sample to use maybe for a kickoff or a sack dance , it has a ton of football references in it and a good beat. "da don / da da/ da donnnnn"

sure its been mentioned but the MondayNightFootball Theme is just a goosebump giver and probably my intro

PENN STATE NITTANY LION'S ROAR- a cool roar noise good for sacks and other plays(especially defense)

i think you can have multiple tracks (up to 3 or 4?) per instance and it will randomly select - the NFL ON FOX THEME will show up somewhere in my games if it is before kickoffs or something (wouldn't be a celebration , more of a hype up)

I am actually considering the begining or part of the OHIO STATE FIGHT SONG , it has some military influence drums and i may fit in somewhere

The OAKLAND RAIDERS THEME (NFL FILMS) is another goosebumb giver that bleeds football atmosphere , the middle-end part (about 45seconds in) is a short drum beat that i might chop up for a sack dance it is that hardcore

THE HEY SONG - "da da da HEY! , da da da HEY!" is a classic that seems to want to be on the soundtrack

when we ride on our enemies TUPAC - the hook from this song for a sack or interception (something defense)

BABY FEATURING CLIPSE CLAP THAT BOY (WHAT HAPPEN TO THAT BOY) - sack dance

others that im thinking about
Victory by notorious BIG when the horns kick in
I am gonna have to make some of my own samples for celebrations , because i have the intro type / hype up songs a plenty , but im gonna make some crazy sack dance samples like helicopter sounds going off or maybe the tomohawk chop from the braves or florida state

if theres a halftime sound you know nas has first dibbs

Queens we will rock you and Rocky's eye of the tiger are both goosebump givers that will be hard to keep off the soundtrack

this is gonna be a lot of fun
