ESPN 2k5 - IGN - Disturbing news

Everything appears to be great according to IGN but they mentioned something that was a game-killer for me in 2k4 and that is the running angles of defenders. The angles defensive players took was completely wrong in 2k4 and allowed big plays when it should not have... its like a DB would have a good angle, but when he got close would dip towards the runner taking himself out of position for the tackle. I sure hope this has been corrected because not only is it key to good defense but imho, it hurts the realism factor of the game...

they were playing on Pro.. they were saying the whole review how Pro is too easy.

angles could still be bad...but as long as RB goes down AFTER 3 tackles im ok with it

I saw that, but I thought they had also said that it wasn't as bad or as frequent as it was in last year's game and just happens occasionally. I don't mind the occasional bad angle(real players take bad angles sometimes too) but last year's was a bit much. I'm not too worried about it right now though.

well when steveOS got the beta, somebody asked him about that particular angle question. he said it has been corrected from last year.
