You could never make trades like that in 2k4.

I had to give up Patrick Surtain, Zack Thomas, and a first rd draft pick for Ray Lewis. Considering Surtain's and Thomas' ratings in 2k4, that's a whole lot to give up. But I gladly did it.

In season? Almost never. It seems like 80% of the NFL's trades happen on draft day. I'll be turning them off in my franchise if I can. I'm new with ESPN so I don't know all the ins and outs of everything just yet.

yep, In season trades are very rare. You can turn off trades so that is your best bet.

where do you turn off trades? I see where you turn off the trade deadline, but not trades.

I agree with everyone..this isnt MLB..NFL trades do happen during season but not often and most of any big trades are done off season.
