Why did ESPN bring their game out so early?

I guess so... it just irks me because it seems like every year the games come out a couple days earlier than the year before. In about 5 years they'll be out right after mini camps lol.

For either game to come in Aug. (as they usually do), the rosters must finalized in late June/early July. So no real difference this except we get to play it early.

You need to lighten up. You're complaining about the rosters, but you CHOSE not to connect your PS2. That's not SEGA's fault.
Besides, most of the players are already in the game, so it may take just some minor tweaking to correct the rosters. It shouldn't be too bad for those that don't have access to the roster updates.

I am going to take this off topic here....I posted somethign a long time ago about a website which I am a member of and the freaking moderators locked the thing. The mods on this site are a little too strict. but that is another issue.

Anyways it is a simple thing to change the rosters by the user.

yeah, the main reason is they (Sega) wanted to get the game out early and hopefully win a few Madden players over who just couldn't wait to play a football game.

Looking into the free agents on the game, there are only a few big name players and it took me less than 5 minutes to put them on the right team. Sega made it easy to adjust the rosters etc. You just click on the free agents name and then click on "assign to team" and then the list of teams pops up, then you click the team name and that is it. Pretty simple.
