I had in week one of season one Chad Pennington was traded to the Jags for Jimmy Smith. Now does that make any sense what so ever? What are some dumb trades any of you have seen by the cpu so far?

I hope that these trades don't happen too often. You never really see trades in the NFL until the offseason. Hope its only once in a while

During my first preseason, the Colts were offering their "idiot kicker" Mike Vanderjagt to anyone who would offer a QB with a rating of at least 50.

i had the patriots cut cut asante samuel...i put him on there roster...and the next time i checked the fa list he was back on it..i dunno mabye i screwed something up ..but i know for a fact i put him on the pats...what the heck was he on the fa list for anyhow?

What I do is play my game for the week and then save the franchise. Then I sim the rest of the week and if there are any wacky trades I just re-sim the week unitl there are no wacky trades. A pain in the butt but it is working so far.

While playing my season the Gaints have up Micheal Strahan For Patrick Surtain i thought that was cool

Heelfan71-that just seemes like to much work. PLus I thought that bkrich said just controll all the teams and just play the games with your favorite team and sim the other games. I haven't tried it but it seems like it would stop all those trades, and if a trade goes down in real life you can make it, by controlling every team.

well if u did that then there wouldnt be any trades and u would have to do all the off season stuff.
