What do the White/Black Buttons Do on Defense After the Snap?

Does anyone know for the Xbox controller? After the snap, does one of them jump and or intercept the ball if the button is pressed? If so, which button does what?

I ask because for me, the Y button on Xbox doesn't do much on defense to block passes, so I'm looking to see what the black/white button does. I know the black one strafes...so maybe I'm just curious what the white button does.

Thanks.

black button doesn't strafe for me...it's right trigger to strafe...manual must have a error, cause mine has black too, but it sure as hell doesn't strafe

White knocks the ball down, black intercepts. Last year it was L and R, this year it's white and black.

The L trigger does nothing now, and R strafes in 2K5.

Black works, although you're still subject to the 'weird interception animation that takes you out of a play and gives up a TD' play here and there.

Thanks! Actually, I have noticed the black button strafes, you just have to be pushing it before or right when the ball snaps.

If you're a DL, the black and white buttons do way different things, like rip and spin moves.

Rt trigger is for linebackers. The black button is for when your actually controlling the DB or safety.
