Re: QB Spy defensive option

Looks like the major flaw in ESPN's gameplay has been found. I frankly loved the game, but this problem didnt become apparent to me till Mcnabb torched me for 101 yards on the ground because my spying was not spying.

I tested it out in scrimmage. I would imagine by putting a LB in a spy mode, it would change his coverage designation when looking at the presnap coverage schemes. When the LB is in man coverage, doing the spy function actually puts him on a RB!!!

I hope there is some way to fix this through a patch or some sort of download because once word of this gets out, ppl are going to be using Mcnabb, culpepper, and vick all the time online.

Has anyone gotten this to work ? I pull the left trigger then select a LB. I then pull the right trigger. When the play starts the LB does whatever he was suppose to do in the play and does not spy the QB. Am I doing something wrong ?

From the espn video games video, check your extras in the game. The narrator, states in order to QB Spy" you select or highlight the LB you want to use as a spy, and then you just pull the right trigger. In addittion to that, you must be in a zone defense to use the spy feature.

I think most of us know that back..but it doesnt seem to work no matter what. He will chase him down if he goes towards the LB's zone, but the LB really doesnt spy him.
