Good Trade?

Javon Walker - 3EXP - 4yrs Left - 82OVR
Nick Barnett - 3EXP - 6yrs Left - 83OVR

Pack gets:
Troy Brown - 12EXP - Final Year - 87OVR
Tedy Bruschi =( - 9EXP - Final Year - 89OVR
4th Round pick - Will be at least in the late 20's, I plan on winnin the Bowl.

I don't wanna get rid of either of them, but they both want 3yr+ contracts at 3mil+ w/ 40% signing bonuses. I won't be able to bring either back because they are up there in years and want more money than I would part with for players that would be in the decline before their contracts are up. So overall, is this a good trade?

EDIT:

Forgot to say that Deion Branch is MY go to guy. I know Brown is better, but Branch has one dropped pass and 17 receptions in 5 games. Brown had 3 dropped passes and 10 receptions in 5 games.

Not for the Packers!! why are they trading away good young players!! For old guys!! I would never trade young for old!!

While they are up there, they will both be playmakers for at least 3-4 more years, and they will have a decent amount of cap space open after the season, so they will probably be able to resign BOTH of them. I wouldn't be able to sign either of them. The Pack is also 23 in the league in passing, so Brown may suit them well right now if he gets back on track. They are 22 in rushing yards allowed as well, so a good tackling and run covering middle linebakcer should help that as well. Bruachi is at least 6 points higher in both categories.

tough to give up those 2 guys , but thats the challenge of running a team.

barnett is fast and young right ? (i like fast LBs for when i want to manually control)

Looks like it has payed off for the first game after the trade.

Walker: 7 Recptions, 175 Yards, 1 TD, 1 Drop
Barnett: 4 Tackles, 2 Batted Balls, and no catches across the middle. =P
