How do you used a playbook other than your team playbook online? I cannot stand the Lions playbook, but I have no idea how to change it. My offline VIP file has the Titans playbook as the favorite, but as soon as I jump into an online game, its right back to the Lions playbook.

I'm not a Madden player mostly because I don't like the "Run N Gun" style play. But look at some of the different plays in teams' Gun formations in ESPN. Try some plays with RO in the title (it stands for Roll Out). If you like west coast style offense, check out the "west coast" playbook. I know when you are new to a game, it can be frustrating trying to learn the new plays. Hopefully, this will help you out some.

Its not that I cant find a playbook that I like, its just that I cant figure out how to use the playbook I want in online games. I have played the series in the past, but you cant go to team options at the controller select screen like in the past. Thanks anyway.

Not sure, but im thinking changing your playbooks online this year is not in. If so I havent figured out how to do it either.

Can you even change where you play this year?

yea , from all indications they do not let you change playbooks this year. I really DISLIKE that. they should really change this with a PATCH.
Very upsetting. I hope that i don't end up having to choose my favorite online team based on a playbook rather then my favorite teams in real life.

] , i think i heard that they expanded each playbook a little , but seriously we should have the option to change.

i remember last year a couple people whined that they thought changing playbooks was somehow cheese, i never understood that , maybe VC listened to them and took out a good feature that provided some coaching freedom.

Is there any truth to the rumor that you can not change a players position in the Subs screen online this year? For example if I use the redskins and I want to move Sean Taylor over to Free Safety ? ?

I heard something like this on the espn boards - i hope this isn't true
