WOW! That was harsh. I charge up with x and then deliver the blow with the dive button. Gotten a few fumbles out of it.

Charging up works but timing is the key if u don't charge up. This is a game of angles when it comes to big hits so make sure u get the angle right whether u charge up or not and u will notice the big hits more often. I caused 2 fumbles so far so it works. Remember though, only the guys who have poor "hold ball" ratings will drop the ball more often.

Holding the "X" button will perform a "wrap Tackle"(where you get your arms around the ball carrier-not that there's anything wrong with that) which is the safe bet. Tapping the "X" will perform a more powerful but risky hit which will drop the runner in his tracks and increase the chance for a fumble. What if you CHARGE UP and tap the "X"-will that be a super duper hit?

lol sounds like it

also i think i read in a review or question session here , theres the idea of grabbing someone with a wrap up tackle - - and quickly changing men to perform a powerful tap- hit. (kind of a dirty play but a way to smash them)

(sounds like a good thing to do if the guy runs with his qb a little TOO often)
