Is this true about the rookie draft being broken??

this doesnt kill the game for me.....and one of the main reasons i got the game was for the franchise mode. is it a bother? no doubt, but it doesnt outweigh how much i love playin this game. jus look at it this way it makes it a bit easier for you to plan draft strategy at least in the first and second rounds.

In order to even things out, couldn't you (the player) just draft either a QB, HB, OT, or DE in the first round? That way you would be on the same page as the CPU, and the draft would go on like it should, sorta. It's just a thought.

I quick simmed to end the first season, and through the second season to the 2nd draft, and...
it's the same...
First round draft picks are picks only of players in the previously listed positions.

And yes, I too came to that same conclusion... only draft players from those positions in the first round.
It won't fix it all, being that you can just trade for 2nd round picks, but if you exercise some self control and don't use that as a cheat versus the A.I. GM's, then it should be fine.
Maybe make a rule for ourselves not to trade for any 2nd round draft picks, and keep your own. To help balance it out.

Actually this $20 game is still better than other $50 football games. You pay for a $50 game thats worse than a $20 game you got screwed. I'd rather pay $20 and get screwed than $50 and get screwed.

This is the best $20 I've spent in I don't know how long.
