Does anyone have a clue how to get a decent return in this game? My longest KR was to the 50 and I did that once. Every other KR is to the 25 at best.

My PRs are terrible. maybe an 8 yard gain at most.

The blocking in the special teams this year is very bad, especially on punt returns. The two guys who run back to block never pick up the first few defenders down field, and it leads to minimal yards gained.

Same here. Wish I could help. I havent broken ANY though. I might have made it to the 40 on kick return once and nothing on punts at all.

I've only had one return (punt) for 72 yards + a touchdown. That was the only one where I just ran into an area with my team mates and there players, I used spin twice people fell over and I sprinted the next 60 yards.

Only done it once though. I do believe its too hard. I feel fortunate with the one i have from what I have heard. Hope this helps

I actually ran one back one with Dante Hall (against the Chargers showing another Madden fan 2K5) and I did just like he did angainst my Broncos too. I'm loving those new cut-back animations.

Bout time a game makes the return game realistic. A good year would be two return td's

I agree..maybe if you got a good returner you should break one every now and then acorss the 50. But for the most part 20-30 yards is pretty good. Like the guy I quoted, 2 returns for td's is a good season.

Rather have this, then like last year.

Yes, but also teams with good special teams units usually get past the 20 or 25.

This year, it seems like instead of really improving special teams, they just stopped them from blocking.

Better than last year's 2-4 kick return TD's per game.
