Is there a roster guru who usually does the tedious work of editing the ratings for every team? Or is this something each of us must do for himself?

Also: capa, what about the receivers? how much do you edit their catch ratings?

I don't know if it is worth it to do this full blast now until they come out with a roster update so we can see if they have made any adjustments. Also, probably best to do when the rosters are cut down to 40 man just before the season.

Bump up WRs catching into 80's...all the offensive attributes for all players seem extremely low. Bottom line is make your kep offensive positions smarter and more effective...the defense in this game is good enough out of the box.

One caveat..one man's steak is another man's poison. Find a balance that suits you..I am more of a call the play and watch it play out guy. Some people are having a blast without changing a thing out of the box and controlling both offense and defense.

thank you, capa, for taking the time to reply. i, like you, play coach mode. i want to be rewarded for making a good play call (and, alternatively, punished for making a bad play call). but i want to be sure it's the play call that does it - not the inadequate attributes assigned to my players.

My advice is do some editing of your own and testing...see what works for you for your style of play. Remember, I am more of the coach type. Jusat pick 2 teams and edit the QBs and bump up WR catching attributes.

One thing I will add, is you should have all your offensive sliders pretty much maxed out if you play coach type football. And your defensive ones lowered within the first 5 - 7 clicks (based on your preferences).

The players out oif the box are almost superhuman on defense. Round two will be to determine what defensive attributes to lower to combat this. Too much swarming, tipping of balls, and stuffing the run.
