I have seen that some are getting pissed about the QB's never running or scrambling.
I was getting to that point.
I was playing on all pro and bumped it to between all-pro and legend.
I played my Vikes against the eagles.

McNabb rolls to the right, nothing is happening downfield and I'm closing with Hovan, McNabb takes off for 78 yards!

First I was like

but then I realized he actually scambled and

He ended up with 91 yards against me.

Two games later similar stuff happend with Vick and the faclons!

Sure hope it keeps up

True Dat!! I had Garcia of the Browns take off 3 or 4 times against me in the same fashion. This game is so damn real!! What's cool, is he actually did the "QB slide" when i went in for the kill!! Too Awesome!! Haven't played against Vick or McNabb yet, but I will!!!!

Try playing online and you'll get pissed that they are doing it too much. In Multiplayer it's a cheese play that makes for an unbalanced game of football. The over compensation on defense to stop the QB run/scramble results in more passing lanes being open, but if you don't blitz or pay special attention to the QB he'll run all over you.. Even if your opponent doesn't revolve his offense around the QB run, 3-5 runs a game on 3rd down change the tempo of the game. I've scrambled 4 times in reflex to noone being open and got a 1st down all 4 times.

The CPU QB always slides even if on third down and just by running forward can pick up the first down. I think many times the QB is trying to dive but the programming only allows CPU QBs to do the QB slide which really hurts them sometimes. Besides, even when they slide you still try to take their head off and there is no flag if you hit them.

Garcia busted a huge run against me last time I played the Browns, and McNabb took off when I blitzed everyone and still came up empty handed.
