Do You Switch?

I especially like to switch when there's atip ball. otherwise I try not to switch too much last second.

I am sure that it fluctuates from team to team because of the various ratings of our Wide Receivers. From what I have experienced, whenever I switch to take control of a defender to pick the pass off after it has been tipped, my guy ALWAYS swats the ball down instead of trying to catch it. This happens when I push 'Y' (Xbox) or the Right Trigger. I know that the Left Trigger is to swat the ball on purpose so I never use that button.

Since I have laid off the switching during a tipped pass, I pick it off about 50% of the time now instead of 0% of the time.

i have 3 questions guys..

1. So L trigger is same thing as White button on the xbox to tip or knockdown the ball when it reaches the reciever ? or is it just for DLINEMEN to knockdown a pass. R button is same as intercept so same as black button?

2. Instead of switching i can just press white or L trigger and my cpu teammate will knock the ball down when the ball is close to the reciever, and black button or R trigger without switching and my computer teammate will try to pick it off

3. is it timing when u guys press either WHITE, BLACK, or Y button or do u press it right after the throw has been made...this is ofcourse without switching.
