U cant QB spy it looks like? ive tried all the buttons before the snap....and another thing everytime i want to adjust a defender to play bump n run or loose or outside or inside it doesnt do it it just does a delay blitz for him...i can shift all linebackers or DB's at a time but it wont let me do only one player ... is this a problem that everybody is having also?

Summarize...

Cant QB spy with anybody on the field. R trigger or any button doesnt do it.
Cant individually assign a DB or Linebacker to play inside , outside, loose, or bump n run...instead it does a delayed blitz. any tips?

the qb spy is being debated some claim it works ONLY IN ZONE COVERAGES, i dont believe that, i believe it doesnt work at all because it has never worked for me. so thats a lost cause, IMO.

in order to assign a individual DB to inside/outside/loose/bump in run you have to hold R, push the button that goes with the DB you want to mess with (button over his head), then use the right analog stick up (for loose), down (for bump n run), left/right (inside.outside).

you cant change a linebacker to bump and run, inside, outside, loose.. i dont think.

i keep doing that with DB's, hold R , then analog stick up (for loose), down (for bump n run), left/right (inside.outside). but when i click on white to see what they are doing they do a delayed blitz...they do move inside or outside or loose or bump n run but they also do a delayed blitz. try it and see his assignment after u do it. even when i dont press white to see what they do they still do a delayed blitz.

This is what you do if you want to put your dbs in bnr hold down the r2 button this on ps2 click the icon of the db you want to put in bnr push the right stick down and then this is important click the right stick r3 button then whenyou are ready to edit any more defensive players remember after changing defensive assingments to click the r3 button hope this helps.

The Defensive Hot routes are Very useful when you need to make adjustments to plays that your normal plays can't stop. You can also make some nice zone blitzs ith them.

No you're doing nothing wrong, the QB spy function simply does not work in the game. This is confirmed by OS.
