Does ESPN use mo cap?

The animations are way more varied and the gang tackles are alot more realistic in ESPN than in Madden, but I can't help but feel the players seem more stiff and robotic in ESPN. Madden has alot of similiar animations we have seen year in and year out, but for some reason they look more natural, even if the players go down the same way twice in a row sometimes. Does ESPN not use motion capture? If they do they really need to find a better way to do it, anyone agree?

Re: Does ESPN use mo cap?

Im pretty sure they use mo cap. i think i saw urlacher in the black suit for them on tv one time. Maybe the madden guys have different technology or something. Most of the animations on espn look good but i cant understand why they cant get simple running right yet? I hope they eliminate the zig zagging all together next year. Thats one of the main things holding the game back imo.
