What is the ideal time the cpu should have to sim game when I play 8 minute quaters.

Right now its on the defualt 5 minutes.

I play 8 minute quarters too and I sim 6 minutes. Seems about right to me.

My guess would be 4 minute sim quarters. But it depends on how you play and what your User vs CPU scores/stats are like. I would sim several seasons trying various lengths of sim minutes, and keep track of the stats and scoring averages each sim length gives you. Then choose the sim length that gives you scores and stats similar to the scores and stats you get playing against the CPU.

If your play with harder difficulty settings u may want to go 4 minutes because your players in tough competive games wont be able to keep up with the 5 minute sim cpu stats. If your using more user friendly settings than just leave it at 5.
