T.O. – zero Speed, no Agility

In my roster, Terrell Owens suddenly can’t run and has no agility whatsoever! So the Eagles cut him. (They considered keeping him on as equipment manager, but he kept marking up and defacing the balls.) He’s now near the bottom of my FA list, and he won’t be playing this year until he apologies to Jeff Garcia.

easy on T.O., shouldn't be judging on people. All he said was in response to a question about whether Jeff Garcia is gay. He didn't call Garcia a rat, he's just using an analogy, to make a point. Besides, I'm sure you've said stupid things too, are you perfect? Nowadays, you can't say anything about gays or homosexuals w/out people jumping all over you. I don't see the same respect for Jews or black people when it comes to what people say, it's not like gays have been persecuted anywhere near as much as the Jews, who were slaughtered(6 million). So go easy on a man's opinion if a man is gay or not. Geez! Anyway, there's no reasons for T.O. to go unsigned, the man is a freak. The only thing I can think of is maybe Terrell was getting old.

That post of mine was meant as a joke, and I don’t usually respond when it comes to potentially political issues… however! T.O. simply should have “no commented”. Period. He’s in a high profile position where he’s able to influence/affect many people – and he’s selfishly abusing that responsibility IMO. And he didn’t “just say”. He “said” and he “definitely meant”. Did you catch his comments about playing with a teammate who might be gay? Where does this guy reside – in the 1950’s?

That's a cool thing about Canada... many of the big stars in Canadian football in the 1950's were black. Heck, I was always Rollie Miles whenever me and my brothers and friends played football. Or Johnnie Bright or E.A. Sims... man, THOSE were football player names!

Why did you even take time to reply to his post? Did you think you were going to make him un-mad and maybe he would make TO good again?

The same reason you responded to mine, because it's a free country. As to his comments being 1950's, that's your own opinion. Some people think that it's OK to love the homosexual, yet hate what they do. If T.O. disapproves of what homosexuals do, and for the sake of this board, I'll leave that to the imagination, that's his right. We live in a free country, and the 1st amendment allows him to express that point of view. Criticizing him for expressing his pt of view is your right, but it's my right to have an opinion too. Your first post obviously implied you didn't approve of T.O's actions, cool, my post obviously disagreed. Enough said. Moving on now, T.O. is probably gonna shut up any haters on the field this year, as T.O. has shown for years he's a top 5 receiver, and having entered his prime, he's probably gonna make ESPN look good. I think putting T.O. on the corner was brilliant, he's gonna get coverage, good or bad, either way it's gonna draw attention to the football game if T.O. negative or positive magnetism keeps people glued to him.
