Zone Blitz

I see the computer do it, but I don't see any zone blitz plays where a dlineman drops back into coverage for my team, the Redskins. Do I have to manually drop my dlineman back, or do only certain teams have zone blitz plays where the dlineman goes into coverage.

Not all teams have one. I personally think all teams should have at least 3 but that's just me.

Yeah, zone blitzes ("Weak Fire," "Strong Fire" and Middle Fire") are particular plays that you have to check for, as it is not in every teams' defensive playbook.

But, you can manually set up these schemes as well if you're quick enough inputting all the pre-snap commands.

Is there a pre-snap command to drop back a dlineman?

Nah, you would have to control the d-lineman who drops back in coverage. That's the only drawback to doing this manually, unless you like using d-linemen, of course.

Not a big deal, I'll just control the lineman when I run a zone blitz. I actually had a lineman get an interception on a dline loop play and have had several passes nearly picked off my lineman, I find this play very valuble in the defensive arsenal. Anyhow, thanks for the responses.
