Cool One awful game

I nearly got shutout (my offense did, but I scored 7 thanks to a Brian Simmons fumble recovery TD for 75 yards) in the snow to the Bills just now. I've fallen 0-2 since losing Carson Palmer to a season ending shoulder injury (broken), and my playoff hopes are slipping away. Thankfully, every other team in the North has been mediocre thus far as well.

I had to sign Mark Brunell to a 1 year deal, since I don't have much confidence in my rookie 2nd string QB, Josh Harris [Rated 60].

Anyways, onto my "offense".

Brunell: 0-8, 1 INT. Yep. Not one complete MF pass.
Mark was pretty solid in his first game as a Bengal, but in the snow in Buffalo was a complete disaster.

I brought in Josh Harris for the 2nd half. The score was 9-0. I held them to 3 field goals, thanks alot to Sam Adams who had 4 sacks and 9 tackles!

Josh Harris: 4-15, 69 Yrds.

The game was horrible. I couldn't do anything right. On the rushing side, Onterro Smith (my starting RB) just ran for 18 yards on 8 attempts (2.2 avg) and fumlbed once. Chris Perry, the other RB, fumlbed once on a kick return. Both times the ball ended up in the hands of the Bills.

Lost 7-23.

BTW, this is 2005, my 2nd year in Franchise - not 2004.

Yikes, what difficulty did you play on? I always cringe against playing teams with good recievers. My zone and man can't stop Randy Moss.

I play on All Pro with custom sliders.

Baa.... I had such an awful game the other day (defenceive struggle) that a halftime Chris is going over the highlights and when its time for the video highlights he says. "THERE ARE NO HIGHLIGHTS.." The screen goes blank......no halftime hero...and it goes back to the game. LOL

Re: One awful game

It might have something to do with your opponent.
As somebody who plays a franchise w/ the Bills, I can tell you their D is phenominal and their offense is a liability.
Lawyer Milloy has 12 picks in 6 games. Unfortunately, Bledsoe has thrown almost as many int's. My games are higher scoring than they should be, because most of the points are generated from turnovers. In that respect, this game reminds me a little of last year's Madden.
