What is your injury slider set at? I found out today that 0 produces no injuries at all, and 40 produces as many as 30 a week!

Re: Dang, Injuries are Killers

When a trainer puts together his injry report, it's not due until Thursday afternoon. It would be neat if you didn't see the status of other injury reports until Thursdays (if you doing weekly prep, it would be an email that comes i middle of the week). In the NFL, everybody tries to hide their injuries from ev'body else for as long as possible (which is thursdays).

The following are the standard categories:

Name, Position, Injury (left or right side), Status for this weeks game (probable, questionable, doubtful and OUT).

If I remember correctly, there aren't any other categories besides those four.. But b/c this is a game, they put the number of weeks. That's my favorite aspect fo the wekly prep, is that you can change that # by rehabing the guy. B/c it shouldn't be set in stone that a guy will be out the next 5 weeks. In the NFL, it's very week-by-week. Soimetiems a guy is probable and STILL doesn't play. But still, VC has a good system, the injuries, on average I think, are just too long. NOT too numerous, just too long.

Now the NFL is stressing that teams be more specific with injury reports, instead of saying something like out with an sprained knee you have to put down which knee is injured.
