Go away Ricky Williams!

alright...having twice started a new franchise with the new xbox offline rosters, both times in week 1 of the preseason, ricky williams got signed by the bears off the free agent list. anyone gotta way to keep ricky away?? i ain't trying to wait all this time for the update to play franchise, only to have one of the major updated guys end up becoming a bear, totally skewing the accuracy!

anyone else have this problem and figured a solution??

I think most people are just editing all of his ratings down to zero that way noone signs him.

One franchise I played, I edited both Ricky Williams and Shannon Sharpe all the way down to zero (every ability). I still had them both signed by a team. I don't think they ever played, but they were signed. It didn't bother me, cuz they would suck if they did play.

Mind you, that was just one franchise I started. The rest(4 others), they have gone unsigned.

Ya I just edit the rosters and take all the major stats down to 0. I did this in 2K4 also with the stupid FA's like the sumo guy and walter payton.

If someone wants to sign Ricky with 0 speed, 0 agility, 0 break tackle and 0 secure ball, let them.

Couldn't you change his name, height and weight in the roster editor too, to make him not "Ricky"? I'm sure NOBODY would want a 5'4" 380# RB!

Thats what i did edit there ratings down to zero.Don't forget Berman
