Can you use a Custom Team in franchise mode?

If I create a custom team, using the custom uniforms, etc, can I play as that team in the franchise part of the game? Like, I think it'd be sweet to play a fantasy draft franchise with a custom team. Can I?

You can ONLY use a custom team in franchise mode this year. And you can't edit the team, once you create it. Last year you could create a team and then edit the players, use the team in any mode: quick games, etc. Someone at VC or whatever decided we had too many choices last year and were having too much fun I guess.

So does it just add another team to the NFL, or does it replace one?

Can you do a fantasy draft with your custom team?

And when you pick players for your team, does it create "clones", like 2 brett favres, or does it take favre away from the packers?

You replace one NFL team with your custom team. Yes you can draft. To prevent the two-Favre syndrome, simply place all the players you want on your custom team, on one NFL team, before you create your custom team. Then choose all those players for your custom team. When you go to remove one NFL team from your franchise, remove the team with all the players you copied.
