If I recall correctly, certain edits done with early version could cause problems. I don't think there are any problems using the latest version.

I assume: Game freezes in franchise, mostly on PS2, although it's happened once on my Xbox.

Franchise freezing was happening long before Finn's editor came out. It has to do with messed up CPU depth charts and User in-game sub screen (it's broken) issues.

Finn's editor only deals with player edits so I don't think it would cause schedule problems.
