help with Finn's editor

I downloaded latest roster set and slider settings, but I noticed some very minor errors on player positions and the defenses teams run. How do you use Finn's editor? Can someone give me a primer? I want to change Browns' Kenard Lang to outside Linebacker, also Stewart of the Browns is an OLB, not an ILB. Can anyone help? I do have Action Replay and latest version of Finn's editor.

Open the roster file into the editor double click on the player and the editor allows u to change the player position. Save the file. It will say file repackaged and the current file will be saved back to the desktop. Drag the file from desktop into the action replay section. Load the current file into the game and you should see the results.

Re: help with Finn's editor

Has anyone read the message at Finns site yet? If so have any of you had problems with his last posted editor...I'm using an earlier edition of his verision 8 series and haven't experienced any problems but apparently the newer one had serious issues...so check the site for the message he posted there it could save you some grief.

Re: help with Finn's editor

here's a silly question. Just how do I open the roster file into the editor? Do i dl roster file on a disk and open it into the editor? If anyone has the time, just spell it out for me. I'm new at this.

Re: help with Finn's editor

okay, now i'm cooking. one problem--how do you edit a team's offensive and defensive sets? The Browns and other teams have switched to the 3-4 defense. Is it possible to do this? Also, how do you edit the team schedule? Any help much appreciated. ciao
