will there be a post-draft, offseason roster updates?
could someone walk me through how to use the converter program, i am having some problems figuring it out, or could someone convert the file to sharkport and post it?

Much appreciated

Simply Load the .max file into the program. Then save as .xps file. You will then have to change the extension manually to .sps if its a sharkport you have.

I converted it here. Let me know if it doesn't work.

The converted file worked great, thanks for all your help and the hard work you did on the rosters!

Thanks for the update. PS 2 questions for you . . . . Did you use Finn's editor to put a face on some rookies? With Finn's editor can you change a position for a player (all of Broncos' safeties are free safeties)? Notice more rookies than the standard 47 limit thru creation, was that Finn's editor again?

Thanks again.

Re: April 24th PS2 Draft Rosters

Finn's editor won't work for the PS2. You can make corrections but the roster won't load due to a CRC check he hasn't cracked.

All of the edits were by hand on the PS2. To get all the rookies in, I had to edit as many crappy existing rookies in the game. If an existing rookie on the free agent list or a team had a rating < 55, they were considered replacable by me. I would edit their name, school and attributes to create a current rookie who is much better. That's why some guys like Alex Smith have pictures - their face belonged to someone else.

With only 47 created player slots that's only 1 1/2 rounds so with this method I got about 3 1/2 rounds with almost 20 created slots to spare. I would love to move some players positions around some more but edits do run out after awhile of existing player names so I'm careful not to do too much.
