whats up with finns editor?

Everytime I edit some players and save it to the computer and then to the memory card and then to the XBOX, the changes I made aren't there.
What am I doing wrong?

I just bought a action replay, set it up and downloaded Finns editor. Do I just drag and drop it into the action replay? Then copy to memory card then to x-box?

It should have come with a "read me" or "FAQ", but here are the steps:

Xbox roster set to AR memory card via controller.

AR memory card to AR device.

Open AR....drag file from card (L column) to middle column....then drag to Desktop

Open FF editor.....open file on Desktop

Edit your butt off.....save. BUT! Don't change the name of the file.

Drag file from Desktop back to AR memory card column.

AR memory card back to controller and load/save once in game.
