when i copy and past attributes (on Finns) and change the name (on XBox), it says the wrong first name and I can't change it. So now Mike Williams (DET) is Mike Williams in text, but the announcer calls him Jimmy Williams. I tried re-editting his name and it still is like that. Any way to fix it? Copy attributes of a guy with first name Mike?

I've seen that too. Its says audio database match and then they don't say the right name. I don't think there is a fix.

another thing i noticed is Ronnie Brown.
Brown is in the database and the game says there is an audio match.
but in the game the annoucer always calls him 'number 23'

The same thing happened when I created Willie Parker on the Steelers,they will say "Eric Parker"

. So I'm going to try an experiment...... I'm going to change Willie Mcginist on the Pats to "Willie Parker" and put him on Pitt,THEN I'll see if they say Willie Parker. I'm hoping that they'll say Willie Parker on the Steelers then I'll just rewrite Willie Mcginist for the Pats (as I don't play as them anyway)

Nope,It didn't work

oh well I guess I'll have to live with them calling him "Eric Parker"

As stated above,(Rudy July) I also believe that there's no fix for this.

But you can get them to call Mike Williams, just “Williams” if that works for you. You have to create a team. Select Mike Williams as a player on that team. Save, etc when done. Now import that Mike Williams from that created team, into your regular NFL roster / league. They’ll call him by his last name only: “Williams”.

I surprised about Mike Williams since he's already in the game as Mike williams (Bills). but oh well guess we can't make everything perfect.
