GCORoster freezes at draft? Why?

Everytime I try a draft or I even try to skip the draft and let the computer do it, the game freezes. Can someone help me with this problem?

Possible solutions and probable answers are being worked on and tweaked on currently at this time, Nicks not much of a talker but if you want some possible solutions and answers to your inquiry here the threads and post may be able to shed some light on the subject or at the least give you some insight as to just why and what causes this to happen just check thru some threads I'm sure you'll come across something as it is one of the most talked about items todate dealing with 2K5 and there are plenty of them just look around,this question has baffeled almost everyone dealing with our little conversion of it here.

So for now, my season with the Jets is completely lost? That'd suck because I just played an awesome season, quite possibly the most realistic season I've ever played. It ended with me losing in the AFC Championship game...20-14...to the Patriots....what a game.

Awe comon bro why the long face? Alls not lost and nobody said it was over noway by any means but you did get in at least one season and if you've read NickChews thread and post he never said anything about these being for Franchise use as a matter of fact he did post something explaining that aspect of these rosters of his all ya gotta do is read before DLing and get the info/story included in the post, sometimes a little time taken to do such things saves you the grief and disappointment of that doh why didn't I read that part!!!

As far as their Franchise they're no different then anybody eles working on them same issue pops up...freeze during off season...thats what we're trying to figure out and improve (with success) on and you can help by using them and reporting anything you think may or may not help solve this issue.

Read the threads and post about guys are doing something about it and so can you ,if you've got any suggestions or have found any game break throughs share em' I'm sure anything in regards to a solution would be greatly appreciated by all of us here at "OS...Da Spot".

Well I'm thinking I'm gonna start a new Franchise with default rosters as the Ravens. Then I'm gonna sim two seasons to skew the rosters to make it seem realistic and enjoy the game. Thanks though!

When I play my brother the rosters are still awesome.

The lock-up during the draft in franchise is quickly becoming my #1 concern as of late.

I'm hoping to shed some insight on why this is happening and figure out the real reason behind this. As I work on the v3 rosters, I'll continuosly be checking the stability in franchise mode. I am anticipating multiple v3 rosters for download though, so we can cover all aspects of 2K5 gamer's wants. With one set being really "fat", as Rick would say, ha. We are talking equipment, player models, global edits, playbooks, etc. As well as a dumbed down, no edits, stable franchise set.

U can have some edits but not too much.

Someone should really see if edits are causing lock-ups or just CAPs/overwriting existing players. I don't think its both. So someone should step up and figure out the problem.

Just one person create a roster with just edits and see if it freezes in franchise.

And another file with all rookies and overwritten players to the max but with no edits.

I believe 1 of these 2 things are causing the lockups.
