Any chance that someone's gunna create the upcoming draft class?

It sounds like you guys are going to put a lot more work into this for accuracy purposes, than you will actually playing the game. I remember this coming up last year and several rosters out there having tons of prospective rookies, only later to have to dump them. But if it's for franchise purposes, then that's out of my scope.

rickster....when you say the game "generates" them....what do you mean?

I'm going to try and make one. I've already started on one that has majority of the qbs and rbs in it. But I don't know when I'll get around to finishing it. I have two exams this week and one next week, so i'm pretty busy. I'll get around to it soon, and I'll post the class when it's finished. It'll hopefully be around superbowl weekend.

I'm also planning on making a franchise file that will be avaliable a couple days after the draft that will have the right rookies on the right teams, but that's still a while away.

The game is capable of creating and does a draft class with all positions and player names in its rookie pool from data already coded in the game in the form of 308 possible prospects for you to change and alter anyway within reason all you have to do is put that data in as in a name like Reggie Bush and his data.

Thats 308 not 30 or 32 but the whole compliment of the draft and I know for a fact if anything about the use of Finns editor for this process I'm alerting you guys to is incorrect Finn himself would chime in here and correct me,I know he reads these boards and has voiced his thoughts and suggestions every now and then especialy when it comes to ESPN NFL 2K5.

Generates means simply that the game makes players available for the rookie draft in the form of players all rookies for the draft process which is part of the games coded program just like the other feature the ESPN news reports that include cut scenes and reports from the draft guru himself "Mel Kipler" so the game from that stance point is pretty much flawless and since its ESPNs game its "Media" driven featuring most of their personalitys from the ESPN channel speaking on topics such as injury reports to rookie prospects all incorperated in the game in the form of cut scenes and reports.

Theres no need to import anything they're already in the game and waiting for the user to put them on teams or the CPU can handle the draft process and off season moves on its own or you can select user and make picks and handle these off season moves yourself, its really cool to go into the draft room and feel like your part of the process even check out some rookies and scout them yourself just like in the real NFL by going to the combines and getting a first hand look at the rookies for the draft.

The game is the total and complete package from the draft to media reports and then some so it can be fun if given a chance to check out all the features that make it the Best overall Football game on the planet IMO.

As for work its really not that hard if you have a plan and use the features in the game and editor for example relating to the proper ratings....

Its possible I believe (might check with Finn) to use the copy and paste feature to change a player into one with simular ratings thus saving you time and effort simply point and click or copy and paste via the editor for certain rating related to a certain back ala Reggie Bush using Cadillac Williams ratings with minor adjustments done by you for whatever reasons you deem necessary.

Also you can use the FBG site that does Madden ratings use their ratings and incorperate them into something simular then transfer those into ESPN ratings most are very simular and the only true ratings you'll find in the form of ratings for video game players its one site I use exclusively since it uses video game rating!!!

Finn is there anything I'm leaving out here or needs correction, if you happen to run up on this post and if theres anything I've left out please elaborate, oh and fellas I'd highly recommend using the .274 or .275 editors due to their "Auto-check" features which has been improved in the .275 edition of the editor!!!
