Re: Blast from the past...1979

TIME MACHINE edits.

When using these rosters lower the pass interference slider in the game. I am thinking of making some edits to the cbs to make them more agressive in the coverage. Remember guys bump and run was still allowed in the nfl in 1979. I gotta give Hayes and Blount their props.

I think the oline couldn't use their hands for pass protection. The agressive edits 127/64 edits is a good simulation for this pass blocking technique. Its fun seeing oline not weighing over 300 pounds and able pull and block in space (oline edits)

Remember this wasn't the pass happy league and the running game/balance offense was more in play.

Thanks for all the great work.

Great ideas, i still haven't tried the aggression edits, i forgot though to mention i did apply the o-line speed edits...i like what i see with them, now if i could just get the QB's to play like they did in 2K4...

Truly a man after my own heart, I've waited like forever to make things right and finally after years of that most bitter defeat revenge will be mine and Elway will feel the awesome power that is the Cleveland Browns, we will have our just dues and Elway will feel the pain!

Currently looking through player faces for that perfect Elway grin.

I've finally finished all the renaming...depth charts and ratings are next, then i'll go through game tapes and football cards to get the equipment close as possible.

Re: Blast from the past...1979

This is very cool Dreaded. Although I have to say, When I play Houston at Pittsburgh and Mike Renfro catches the TD pass and the ref blows the call, I am going to throw that red flag that didn't exist in '79.

Serously though, thanks for the hard work. Great memories with alot of these guys....Ahmad Rashad, White Shoes Johnson, Steve Grogan, Earl Campell....the list goes on and on.
