The site is OK, just dont click on the uber-obvious porn links. lol.
IF you'd feel safer, here's Tpaterniti's own site, you can download it in ARMax format there:
www.geocities.com/tapaterniti
As for the downloaded rosters, they work 100% on the PS3; you'll need the ARMax, a USB stick (comes in ARMax package), and the memory card adaptor.
Unfortunately, you CAN'T upload rosters simply with a USB stick, or other memory card (for the 60 gig owners).. I tried, searched, every method I could think of. The system wont recognize it to therefore move to an internal mem card.
Stuck in the middle? IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY. My PS2 died just two weeks before I picked up my 3, and several sweet games were collecting dust b/c it wasnt the same w/o my saves.
Now I have them. And I have my 2k5 back.
'Eff EA. Nuff respect to Tpat for his efforts
; I wish I could make the time to contribute some feedback/input/progressive work for the sake of the community.
Took me a while to find the adapters locally.. by chance WalMart had ONE shipped to them. SamGoodys.com and some other site's Ive seen have them (walmart.com last was sold out.. as of last week?) in stock. I recommend picking it up highly. *wink*
If you dont want to pick up the ARMax, Tpat's gracious enough to upload the save to your memory card, free of charge-- just mail the card and give him a few days. You can contact him via the site. Very above-board reputation-wise, if you havent been exposed to his presence in the roster edits.
