Re: 2K4 Superbowl result

Nice..****nning backs stats look a little low. Kind of weird for a game thats accused of having too powerful a running game. I'm guessing you are using default sliders?

Also i was thinking of if i got some free time copying some of your historic rosters to 2K4. Do you think it would be possible using the export team feature? I've no idea how many could be loaded at a time though.

I refuse to believe in any sim without a single carry from Chicago's best RB.

Actually, I did not use default sliders. I'll have to fire it up again to get the details.

I don't think you can put historic teams into 2K4 due to the limitation on the number of players you can change. I think it maxes out at like 30 or smething if I remember correctly. It could be done with a 3rd party editor, but as you know, one was never made. I just don't think it can be done in the game. Would be awesome if it could though! Anyone have any clues?

No i mean the export team feature where you use the current roster players and caps, then start a franchise, export and save the teams...i'm thinking that might work well. I'm just not sure how many could be loaded at a time.

Re: 2K4 Superbowl result

Hey...the final score was not that far off! pretty cool. A testament to the 2K4 engine and DreadedSteelers rosters!!

Let's see how the stats matched up:

2K4 Sim

Bears 7 3 0 8 18

Manning 14-20 (70%) for 233 yards. 1 TD. 0 INTS
Grossman 22-33 (67%) for 284 yards. 2 TD. 0 INTS.

Jones 23 for 59 yards. 0 TD
Addai 18 for 39 yards. 2 TD
Rhodes 4 for 5 yards. 0 TD

Muhammed 10 for 118 yards. 0 TD (long = 24)
Berrian 5 for 114 yards. 1 TD (long = 64)
Harrison 7 for 91 yards. 0 TD (long = 20)
Wayne 1 for 42 yards. 1 TD. (long = 42)
Clark (Chi) 3 for 25 yards. 0 TD (long = 15)

Uhrlacher 12 tackles 0 Assists 0 Sacks
Doss 9 tackles 3 Assists 0 Sacks
Brackett 8 tackles 1 Assist 0 Sacks
Manning (Chi) 7 tackles 1 Assist 0 Sacks
Brown 4 tackles 3 Assists 2 Sacks

Actual Game

1Q 2Q 3Q 4Q Final
Colts 6 10 6 7 29
Bears 14 0 3 0 17

Manning 25-38 (66%) for 247 yards. 1 TD. 1 INTS
Grossman 20-28 (71%) for 165 yards. 1 TD. 2 INTS.

Jones 15 for 112 yards. 0 TD
Addai 19 for 77 yards. 0 TD
Rhodes 21 for 113 yards. 1 TD

Berrian 4 for 38 yards. 0 TD
Harrison 5 for 59 yards. 0 TD
Wayne 2 for 61 yards. 1 TD

Overall, I'd say the game did a fantastic job. The real game passing was a bit more than the game expected, but all in all these numbers are pretty darned close.
