PBP tip for roster makers (Finn's editor)

noticed this bug(?) a while back but only just confirmed it by testing on diff files:

there are two separate slots for "Jones" in Finn's play-by-play dropdown menu. it goes:

Jones, Walter
Jones
Jones
Joppru, Bennie


only the 2nd of these two choices actually sets PBP to "Jones." The 1st one instantly reverts PBP to "Jones, Thomas" when you accept the changes

Also take a look at Johnson. There are two of them the first one is correct but the second one sets the pbp to Bridges.

there are also 2 watsons. first one sets it to "Chris Watson."

second one correctly sets it to Watson

Another great find.
I wonder if Finn can release another version without the extra names, they might free up something. I don't know what but maybe something.

I see that the PBP of #99 is missing.

to get PBP of #99 you can set it to "UNK9099"

i found this by making a CAP w/ #99, saving the roster & checking his PBP setting in the editor. i dont think removing anything from the editor could enhance it in anyway- remember for PBP it's just points to existing gamecode... doesn't add anything new to the gamesave like w/ renaming

Just want to point out a few things.

1) You can eliminate the extra Jones, Johnson and Watson PBP names by deleting them in the actual file itself. I did this and eliminated the PBP names for Chris Berman, Jamie Kennedy, etc. as well.

2) You can add #99 to the PBP list by adding it into the file itself. I did this as well.

3) I deleted all the unknowns as well in the photo file and the PBPB file. This way, I dont have to go through all of them just to get to "no photo".

NOTE - Eliminating all the unknown photos will cause a "blank" in Draft Classes. In other words, if you edit a draft class player, you'll see that the photo is blank and needs to be replaced in order to proceed.
