no no-- sorry i didnt explain this well:

1) if a player gets hurt in the game in your franchise, you can absolutely IR him by going to the injury screen in your franchise & pressing A @ the prompt to assign him to IR

2) if a player gets hurt in REAL LIFE & you just want to emulate that in the game, you can still IR him.... but you have to do so from in the editor

basically, the game wasn't designed to let you IR healthy players-- you either need them to get injured in the game first or you need to use the editor

Ah, that makes sense. I haven't played the franchise mode since it originally came out, so I couldn't remember if we could IR players.

I must say I am also quite impressed by the fact the salaries won't be all out of wack since you can reset them to make them more reasonable based on ratings. I can't wait to get my hands on a roster file!

OK, I went back and did it again Puja. So you can relax and get all your ratings done before releasing a franchise file.

Features:
Puja's rosters
IR'd players on correct team and IR'd(most of them anyways[the important ones])
Salary Cap upped to $99.5M to get rid of the cap issues
Edited the depth chart/playbooks to be like his B set of rosters
All 32 teams are human controlled, so no ******** punt returners or trades.

NFL salary cap is 102.5 mil per team, if you want to be 100%

actually, in the latest CBA it's 109M for 2007; 102.5 was for 2006 (last season)
