New to 360-Looking for Best Directions

Hello,

I'm fairly new to the 360,but very familiar w/2K5 (I created the file for the PS2/PS3 roster save).

I have an XPort on-order, and I'm looking for the definitive thread on how to perform a file transfer to an Elite HD. I've downloaded Finn's Editor, and a file from datel already.

I'm getting confused because I've read threads for X-Box and 360 conversions, and I don't want to overlap.

Any help in pointing me to a good 360 "2K5 Updated Rosters for Dummies" post would be extremely appreciated.
