Posted the file last week (page 2 of this thread) but no updates since then.

Am close to a 1955-1979 roster file too, but need for the renaming feature to be cracked before I post that. I added some classic teams in the spots for the Panthers, Ravens, Titans, Jaguars.

You want to take on Unitas and the 58 Colts, don't you?

Capa, how do you determine the pass rush ratings for players before 1982 when there were no sack records kept? For that matter, how do you determine the run coverage rating?

I am looking for realism on the field play...the look and feel of the game. You are right...there is no way to "know" alot fo these things...so most rosters are based on ratings that will allow for competitive games on the field. I saw alot of these guys play...I grew up (debatable) in the 60's and 70's.

I do boost known stars and superstars across all eras for critical ratings...but you do have to "suspend disbelief" a bit when playing with historic teams...
