1980 - 2007 Historic roster coming...

Thanks to Finn and all his work on the editor, as well as making some of the current teams into single historic teams, I wanted to put together an historic roster for single season play (not franchise). I should be able to upload it later today or tonight...tomorrow at the latest.

Anyway, listed below are the teams included. Why these teams? No real reason for the most part. Some are obvious choices, and others are personal favorites. I wanted to get a good cross section of players in the game, so did not want to stock up un too many recent teams. Some are no brainers...you have to have Montana, Marino, Sanders, Payton, Elway in the game for sure.

I do have another set that is from 1956 - 1979, but I am unable to release that set unless and until Finn solves the team renaming issue in his editor. That may or may not happen. But I did not want to release that set with the Texans, Ravens, Panthers, and Jaguars. I want to insert other historic teams like the 72 Browns, 58 Colts, 73 Bills, and 67 Raiders in addition to the other 1955-1979 teams I decided on. Keep your fingers crossed!

Anyway, hope this generates some interest and I will post as soon as I can.

This certainly generates MY interest.Love the historical stuff,particularly on one roster file.

Because the other files are simple single standalone team files. This will be a roster which includes the teams I defined in the post above, so that you can play a season with them. The single files can only be used for one on one exhibition games...unless you have exported them and re-imported back into a roster file similar to the one I will post.

So, bottom line is you will be able to see who wins the Historic SuperBowl with this roster set...at least for team 1980 - 2007.

I think they just want to have Theismann and Riggins.The '91 club was the most dominant of all of Washingtons' SB teams.

Yeah, I guess. They always seem to be ranked in the top 5 teams of all time in lists...the 82 team isn't even mentioned.
