d line and punt returns

does any one know how to stop the d line from returning punts? i played the patriots in my franchise and Richard Seymour was their punt returner. i dont know if any other team has this happen but help would be appreciated

You can use Finn's editor to fix the punt returners every week or you can release the DE's in the roster manager and then assign them back to their respective team.

or you can just ignore it like me since the DEs get just as much return yardage as a regular punt returner in this game

well i lookd at the depth chart in the editor and it has wes welker for punt returns. so maybe theres a glitch somewhere

Did you look in the roster file or your current franchise file? Check the franchise file, it should have the DE listed. Everything that you have setup in your roster file stays that way for week one but once you start week 2, the CPU changes everything.

The glitch has to do with releasing and assigning players in the roster manager and the crappy depth chart setup.

While I've never had a kick or punt return TD, I still want the actual returners returning kicks and punts. Of course, im picky.
