I am working on a giants upadted roster but I cant find Dominick Hixon on anyone's roster.

how can I create a new name in Finn's editor?

You could use Finn's Editor to make the change to a current player in your zip file.

when double clicking player appearance, last name, you cant type in a name, only use the drop down list, so how do you create a new name?

At the top of the right side of the editor, there's a How do I... button.
Click on and go to Change Players Names.

It'll probably explain better than I will.

ok what i did was copy over the player (then "paste player-exact copy") from Puja's roster in place of a scrub offensive lineman.
problem solved.
