I bought the Datel transfer kit to get MLB rosters, and I was wondering if that would work for 2K5 rosters as well. Can you do it through a memory card, or do you have to connect your HDD to your computer

Nope, you need either a Xport or a Xsata to get the rosters.

Or buy a cheap sata to usb adapter and open your hdd as I did. Very simple
