Okay, I am definitely going to buy NFL 2k5 in the next week, but I want to know some things first.

1. Do I need to download anything for my 360 to be backward disc compatible?

2. Is it possible to get the rosters onto my harddrive using my Windows Vista Laptop?

3. How much memory does the roster file take up on my harddrive?

4. How much of a noob would you consider me to be?-This one's just for laughs, but answer, I don't mind being made fun of.

1.Yes, xbox.com is your friend

2.Yes, but make sure you turn off user account control from the settings otherwise rosters will not transfer.

3. Not v much

4. I am useless when it comes to this sort of thing but i had absolutely no trouble transferring, just follow the instructions to a tee from the sticky at the top and you should be gold.

You will need an XSATA or an M$ transfer cable in order to transfer files to your 360 Harddrive.

With the MS Transfer Cable, does the HD still have to be removed from the console and can it just stay in place?

Also, is there any other way to transfer files like using a memory card? Like we do on the original Xbox?

Thanks Finn, I now have my franchise up and running. I really appreciate the fact that you made it possible for all of these rosters with your editor. It's really amazing what technology can do with all of the great minds on this site.
