2K10 Roster in 2K5 Format?

I downloaded someones set and it had a certain formula to the edits where most players are 85+ and there's tons of 100 OVR ratings. Alot of the individual ratings are also over 100 (i.e Run Route= 115).

Can anyone tell me if there's a roster file that uses the same ratings philosophy that the original 2K5 rosters had of a handful of players rated OVR 100. Average players rated around 64 or so.

I'm new to this so if you have any other tips let me know they'll be greatly appreciated.

JSOU and FunNgun use higher attribute ratings for their rosters while mine are very much in line with the original rosters.Overall ratings range from 60's to only elite players above 90.For me personally I like to have good sim stats but still manage to have good gameplay.I'm in no way discrediting their rosters as they are going for gameplay over sim stats.

i'll check em out for sure. ive been using fng's and they're better. puja are probably great for exhibition play but im a franchise guy so normal sets play out a bit better.

actually my rosters are specifically designed for franchise play & were specifically measured against the original game

i can tell you the exact max/min ranges of each attribute AND overall rating from the default roster and how my files measure up against those ranges.

granted, i've tweaked some ranges for gameplay reasons, but none of my overall ratings are far outside the range of the original game. <10% of my players are rated 90+ OVR and MANY are in the 60s

how do your rosters play 5-10 years into franchise? i would think that it'd feel like almost a different game being that there wont be as many 100 ovr ratings. i've been shifting between fng's and ur sets back and forth in exhibition play and they're both a blast but for franchise purposes it sounds like gr18s might be best for my needs.

I think you may have mistaken JSOU's rosters with Puja's.JSOU's has higher attributes designed for gameplay over simming while Puja's are similar to mine.He's a veteran at this stuff.The only reason I didn't mention him earlier was because I don't think his is updated at this time but I know he's working at it.

By your tastes I would think mine or Puja's would be what you're looking for.

your right. ill report back after i test both of your sets. is there an eta when you guys might be updating your sets?

Mine are updated as of about 3 weeks ago and there have only been some minor moves since.I know I have a more updated roster than what Madden shipped with.I as well as most others would be trying to get something out shortly after final roster cuts.That's always a hectic time.
