Problems with ps2 Dolphin 1986 roster

I downloaded the 09-10 rosters and franchise file, along with 1986 rosters off of nfl2k5rosters.com today, and the 09-10 rosters and franchises loaded and played flawlessly.

However, when I tried to play with the Dolphin 1986 rosters the game would "hang up" at Chris Berman's pregame show.

Has anyone encountered these problems with the 1986 roster, and what should I do? Again this is for ps2.

I had the same problem when I was still playing with the ps2, I even downloaded the roster a second time but still had the same issue. I finally broke down and purchased a 360. I had to many issues using the ps2.

I can tell you I had nothing to do with the conversion to PS2 and haven't played it on that system, so there is no guarantee with my rosters on PS2. I made it for the xbox and let the others take it from there. I can tell you it works great on the xbox

yeah some teams don't work right on it. i wanted to try exporting teams but you can't make it to the menu in franchise either so that fix wouldn't work nice roster though man! browns and niners work fine, and those are some classic teams! kosar and montana!

Sorry. If I had the means to do so, I'd make sure they worked on that system, but my nephew is the owner of my PS2 now and I'm sure hes not giving it back. If the person(s) that do the converting want to try it again, I'd be grateful.

In general with the ps2 it was harder to get rosters for one, then at time during the transfer process some files would show as being corrupt. This did not happen all the time but enough to frustrate me. After getting a 360 I have all the rosters I want and the transfer process is very simple. Just my opinion, the biggest issue is having access to all the classic rosters.

I agree. I know people aren't made of money, but I bought a second xbox with a bunch of games and controllers off ebay recently for about $40. Well worth it to me.
